Cauquen in Distress

We were visiting Tierra del Fuego in the summertime. The days are incredibly long with light until 11:00 at night. On this day we were hiking through National park when we came across this goose. Locally it is know as a Cauquen, the female is brown but the male is as white as snow. I started taking photos from a distance with a telephoto but soon I realized that he was injured. So I sat down so as to appear as unchallenging as possible, so as not to cause anymore stress then he was clearly already under. As he stumbled forward into the water I decided that I would try a wide angle, rather than a portrait, so as to show him as part of his environment. Took just this one shot.
