A Century of Light Amongst the Waves

Description

This is the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. It was built after its name sake managed to run aground on this rock in the middle of the Beagle Channel. It's often referred to as the last lighthouse on earth due to its southerly latitude. However there is in fact one further south but it is not nearly as picturesque as this! Today it is the Eiffel Tower of Tierra del Fuego and makes for a lovely day Trip with its huge colony of resident cormorants and the odd sea lion to keep it company.
